The office of attorney Carlos M. Calderón Garnier is a general law office firm that emphasize in legal counseling, civil litigation and criminal defense arising in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (United States). We represent clients before State and Federal Courts in diverse legal matters including personal injuries, product liabilities, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, employment litigation and insurance claims.  Our legal practice provides both plaintiff and defense representation, which enables us to understand a broad range of client’s legal needs and develop an effective legal strategy. Our practice includes representation before federal and state appellate courts.

We represent individual clients that are target of a criminal investigation, assisting them to understand their their legal rights in responding to a government subpoena, law enforcement interviews, Grand Jury interrogations, assets forfeitures and a distressful state accusation or federal criminal indictment.

As an authorized Public Notary, contracts and business transactions may be attested within the island of Puerto Rico. We provide legal counseling to business entities or individual clients in drafting their commercial and real estate transactions, including business contracts, deeds, leases, mortgage constitutions, mortgage notes, easements, corporate formation, shareholder and partnership agreements, among others.  For most individual clients we advise on the groundwork for prenuptial agreements, options, purchase and sales contracts, rental or lease agreements, powers of attorney,  recordation of facts and events, wills and bequeaths and inheritance division.
